Nurses and Counselors

A proposal has been made for our community schools. One is to hire more nurses and the other one is to hire more counselors in order to help with the development of students. There is not enough money to accomplish the two proposals. Which one should Mayor Mike Bloomberg choose?

A) The first proposal is to hire more nurses.

Having more nurses in school is very important because they:
1- Can help with the health of students.
2- Can give sex education classes.
3- Be able to help all the students if there is more than one nurse.

B) The second is to hire more counselors.

It is necessary that schools have more psychological, academic, and career counselors because if we have more they could:

1- Help student when they have personal problems (family, self esteem, etc).
2- Give academics advisement.
3- Have time for each student.

Washington DC trip was an amazing event in my life because I share with different students from the CLIP program and my special classmates.

"Make a decison fair"

Sometimes in life we have occasion where there are different people with different points of view. Each person is trying to consume the audience, so their argument can be important in a good ay, but not everybody agree. To make a fair decision it is better vote for each argument, that how everything will feel. In class we made this activity, where not one follow the agreement. I think the classmate didn't follwo to go to the museum, because they did not communicate, so as a class, everybody might have gone together.

A day without a Mexican

This movie show how important is the immigrant in this country specially the Mexican. At first I saw that all the Mexican hard working at the commercial stores, household, farmers, and selling fruit in the streets. Them they stop and refuse not to work, so the Native American misses them because they didn’t know how to work as the Mexican. The city of California was getting crazy because the worker has despair and there were not fruit in any stores. The people who worked at the imigrate were so board, because no Mexican was coming to The United States. After the storm had passed to the Native American, the Mexican start to appear and come back to their work. The Native American realized that the United States without Mexican would be impossible to live constable.

Immigration

To think about immigration it’s very difficult because we all are immigrant, but the only things that one group is legal and the others illegal. Both group come to the United States to succeed.

Immigrants that are legal have the opportunity to work and pay their taxes. The majority of the legal are working in low-payments jobs. Also they can go to their country. On the other hand, the illegal immigrants can’t pay their taxes and their boss takes advantages of them by paying them the amount of money they had worked. Most of them are “jornaleros” this mean they have to work in different places every day. From 2000 to 2005 immigration has increases. More people are coming; the sad story is that the height percent are illegal, so they don’t have the rights as the legal immigrants. We have to support each other. We are human been.
